"We originally moved from San Diego to a temporary rental in Bermuda Dunes. One of the criteria was that the mover had to have baby grand piano moving experience. We used a San Diego moving company and had a mediocre and expensive service! Not wanting a repeat when we finally moved from the rental to our new home, I researched local Coachella Valley movers. We were moving fro from Bermuda Dunes to Palm Desert - 2.5 miles. I found what turned out to be a wonderful service (With great Yelp reviews). It's a family-owned and operated company from Cathedral City. Oasis Moving Company, 68185 Marina Rd., Cathedral City 92234 - (760) 322-8000 The owner Armando Gutierrez has one helluva experience having moved a lot of celebrities over his 20+ years in the biz. He knew his stuff and came up, not only with a moving plan but a where-to-put-all-the-boxes plan that really worked out. And he knew more about the ins and outs of moving pianos and refrigerators than anyone I've experienced."
